{description}Can you imagine world without water? Whether for drinking or cleaning, water is part of our everyday lives. With almost 1.4 sextillion liters of water on the planet’s surface, many of us take it for granted that water is a limitless resource. Unfortunately, it is thought that up to one sixth of the world’s population currently lacks access to quality water.Of the world’s water, only 2.6% is suitable for human consumption.  What’s more, the majority of this “fresh” water is actually locked away in glaciers, effectively reducing the available supply to only 1% of Earth’s total reserves. Between increasing populations and changing climates, this small percentage of fresh water is not being evenly distributed to those most in need.{/description}
