Unfortunately, it is thought that up to one sixth of the world’s population currently lacks access to quality water.Of the world’s water, only 2.6% is suitable for human consumption.  What’s more, the majority of this “fresh” water is actually locked away in glaciers, effectively reducing the available supply to only 1% of Earth’s total reserves.
